Martin Riccabona

behaalde zijn Bachelor aan de Anton-Bruckner-Privatuniversität Linz, in 2016 (bij Brett Leighton en Jörg Halubek). Hij studeerde ook aan de Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, bij Wolfgang Zerer en Pieter van Dijk. Momenteel studeert hij voor zijn Master bij Bernhard Haas aan de Universiteit voor Muziek en Uitvoerende kunsten in München. Hij nam les bij Rudolf Jungwirth (orgel improvisatie) en Menno van Delft (clavichord) en nam deel aan verschillende masterclasses en colleges van bekende organisten. Martin treedt op als solist en als ensemble musicus in verschillende europese landen. Hij won de tweede prijs in het orgelconcours ´Daniel Herz´, in Brixen/Italy 2012 en bij het ´Paul Hofhaimer´, concours in Innsbruck/Oostenrijk 2013. In 2014 won hij de ´Grand Prix d'ECHO´ in Freiberg/Duitsland en verkreeg de titel ´Young ECHO-Organist of the year 2015´. Hij is geïnteresseerd in instrumentbouw en was adviseur bij diverse orgelbouw projecten.

Martin performs both as soloist and as ensemble musician in several european countries. In 2014 he won the ´Grand Prix d'ECHO´ in Freiberg/Germany, gaining the title ´Young ECHO-Organist of the year 2015´.He is interested in instrument making and has acted as a consultant in several organ building projects.
